Follow these steps to get GPT-Voyager working in Chrome:

Open the download page:

On the page, look for the latest release or the main download link. This page contains the extension package.

Download the
.zipfile that contains the extension files or the.crxfile if available. -
Once downloaded, open Google Chrome.

In Chrome, enter the address bar:

Enable Developer mode by toggling the switch in the top-right corner.

Click Load unpacked (if you downloaded a
.zip, unzip it first and select the extracted folder). -
Select the folder where the extension files are located.

You have now installed GPT-Voyager in Chrome.
Once installed, this extension adds tools to your ChatGPT page.
- Look for the GPT-Voyager panel on ChatGPT’s interface.
- You can create folders to organize your chat history.
- Use the built-in prompt templates to start chats quickly by selecting from a list.
- When typing, you can insert formulas using LaTeX or create diagrams using Mermaid syntax.
- To save your chats, click the export button and choose Markdown or HTML.
- To back up your conversations, click the local backup option to store files on your PC.
You can customize settings by clicking the GPT-Voyager icon and selecting Options.

In Chrome, remove the old version from

Automatic updates are not supported since this is a manual install extension.

GPT-Voyager works locally within your browser. It does not send your chat data outside your machine except through ChatGPT itself. Backups are saved only where you choose on your PC. No personal data is collected by the extension.
