Before you start, ensure your system meets these requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS, or a Linux distribution
- Processor: 2 GHz dual-core or better
- RAM: Minimum 4 GB
- Storage: At least 200 MB available
- Visit this page to download: PlexMCP-OSS Releases.
- Choose the latest version.
- Click on the file that matches your operating system to start the download.
- Once the download is complete, locate the file in your downloads folder.
- Double-click the downloaded
.exefile. - Follow the installation prompts, selecting your preferred options.
- Once installed, find PlexMCP in your Start Menu and open it.

.dmgfile you downloaded. - Drag and drop the PlexMCP icon into your Applications folder.
- Open your Applications and find PlexMCP to launch.
- Open a terminal window.
- Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the file.
- Use the command
chmod +x PlexMCPto make it executable. - Run
./PlexMCPto open the application.
