az104-cert-buddy is an AI-powered study tool created to help you prepare for the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator certification. It generates exam-like practice questions, lets you check your answers, and provides hands-on labs in the Azure portal. These labs reference real Microsoft Learn content to help you gain practical skills.
This application is designed for anyone studying for the certification, whether you are new to Azure or looking to refresh your knowledge. You don’t need technical skills to use it. The tool guides you through practice questions and lab exercises, so you can build your confidence before the exam.
The steps below will help you download and run az104-cert-buddy on a Windows computer.
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit recommended)
- At least 4 GB of free disk space
- Internet connection (needed for downloading and some labs)
- Microsoft Azure account (free tier works for labs)
- A set of realistic practice questions modeled on the AZ-104 exam
- An interactive way to review answers immediately
- Guided Azure portal labs linked to Microsoft Learn content
- Friendly AI assistance to help you through difficult topics

- On the GitHub page, look for the Releases section or a file named similar to
az104-cert-buddy-setup.exeor.msi. - Click the file to download it to your computer. Save it in an easy-to-find location like your Desktop or Downloads folder.
- Locate the downloaded file in File Explorer.
- Double-click the file to start the installation process.
- Follow the setup instructions on the screen.
- Agree to the license terms.
- Choose the installation folder or accept the default.
- Click Install.
- When installation finishes, you can launch the app immediately or find it in your Start menu.
- Click the az104-cert-buddy icon on your Desktop or in your Start menu.
- When the app opens, you will see options for practice questions and labs.
- Select the Practice Questions tab.
- Choose a topic or take a full mock test.
- Answer questions and submit them by clicking Submit.
- The app will show your score and explain correct answers.
- Select the Labs tab.
- You will see a list of labs covering key skills for the AZ-104 exam.
- Each lab will include step-by-step instructions.
- Some labs will open links to the Azure portal where you can perform tasks.
- You need to sign in with your Microsoft Azure account to complete these labs.
- Labs track your progress and give feedback.
- Complete practice questions regularly to reinforce learning.
- Use the Azure labs to get hands-on experience, which is important for the AZ-104 exam.
- Read explanations after each question to deepen understanding.
