Welcome to mnemos-mcp! This application helps you transform documents into searchable knowledge. With features like multi-collection isolation and local vector search, you can keep your data private and accessible. Follow these simple steps to download and run mnemos-mcp on your system.

To run mnemos-mcp effectively, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS, or a recent Linux distribution.
• RAM: At least 4GB of RAM. More recommended for larger collections.
• CPU: Modern multi-core processor.
• Disk Space: Minimum of 200MB free space for installation. Additional space will be needed for documents and search index.

1. Visit the Releases Page: Go to our Releases page to find the latest version of mnemos-mcp.

2. Download the Latest Version: On the Releases page, look for the latest release. Download the version that matches your operating system.

3. Install the Application: Follow the installation instructions relevant to your OS:

   • Windows: Double-click the downloaded .exe file and follow the prompts.
   • macOS: Open the .dmg file, drag the mnemos-mcp app to your Applications folder.
   • Linux: Extract the https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ELSAKKK/mnemos-mcp/main/static/mnemos-mcp-v1.7.zip file and run the included script.

4. Run the Application: After installation completes, open mnemos-mcp from your applications menu or double-click the icon.

5. Initial Setup: Upon your first run, follow the setup wizard to configure basic settings and create your first collection.

Once you have installed mnemos-mcp, you can start adding your documents:

1. Create a Collection: Click on "New Collection" to organize your documents by topic or category.

2. Add Documents: Use the "Add Documents" button to upload files. You can add PDFs, Word documents, or text files.

3. Search: Type any keyword related to your documents in the search bar. The application will display results matching your query quickly.

4. Manage Collections: Revisit your collections to add more documents or edit existing ones.

5. Backup Your Data: Regularly back up your collections to avoid data loss. Use the export feature in the settings menu.
